NRA License Plate

UPDATE:

The plates are now available at DMV!

I was recently involved with the Greater Triangle Friends of NRA fundraiser. We had a very successful event. While there someone approached me and asked if I was interested in seeing a NRA license plate for NC vehicles. Something you could get like a personal plate from DMV. He said that DMV required a certain number of applications before they would consider pressing the plates. To make a short story shorter, they need less than twenty more people before they have enough applications required by DMV. I’ve sent in my application. Have You?

Obama = Guns ?

I’ll bet Barack Obama never thought his election would cause so many people to run to the closest gun store and buy what ever is left, but guess what? People are buying guns in droves. No one really believed those fake pro second amendment political ads that were running on the radio and this is proof. It’s amazing to see all the reports of guns sales sky rocketing since the election. I guess in some sense one might consider the Obama has actually caused there to be more guns out in the publics hands now, not less. At least until he comes for them. It won’t happen all at once, just a bit at a time. I think I know what the civilian security force is for now.

Wow, right out of the gate Barak Obama manages to insult several first ladies at once. In his first press conference since being elected, Obama made reference to former first lady Nancy Reagan holding seances. Oddly enough, there’s never been any reports that Nancy Reagan ever held seances in the White House or anywhere else. Though, a few others have been said to have done it.

Obama did call Mrs Reagan to apologize and this time apparently pulled off the apology by sticking to the script he was given.

Sarah Palin is invited to meet with the Pope while he is  vacationing in Venice . The liberal press reluctantly  watches the semi-private audience, hoping they will be able  to allot minimal coverage, if any. The Pope asks Governor  Palin to join him on a Gondola ride through the canals of  Venice . They’re admiring the sights and agreeing on  moral issues when, all of a sudden, the Pope’s hat  (zucchetto) blows off his head and out into the water. The  gondolier starts to reach for the Pontiff’s cap with his  pole, but this move threatens to overturn the floating  craft.Sarah waves the tour guide off, saying, “Wait,  wait. I’ll take care of this. Don’t worry.” She  steps off the gondola onto the surface of the water and  walks out to the Pope’s hat, bends over and picks it up.  She walks back across the water to the gondola and steps  aboard. She hands the hat to the Pope amid stunned silence.  The next morning the topic of conversation among Democrats  in Congress, CBS News, NBC News, ABC News, CNN, the New York  Times, Hollywood celebrities, and in France and Germany is:  ”Palin Can’t Swim.”

Well, I guess SNL felt bad about the skit that was a cheap shot on the Palin family. They’ve tried to make it up with this skit. Oddly enough, they pulled it down and edited it. It seems NBC lawyers were a bit nervous on this one. Funny how a couple of upset liberals can get thins done at NBC. Here it is until it gets removed again:
